The Role: Lead Engineer – Civil Infrastructure

Core Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee end-to-end civil operations, ensuring the structural integrity and reliability of network towers through rigorous inspection and maintenance programs.

  • Maintenance & Innovation: Lead MTU maintenance activities while integrating new materials and technologies to boost operational efficiency and long-term performance.

  • Project Leadership: Manage specialized civil projects from conception to completion, ensuring technical solutions align with structural standards, budgets, and timelines.

  • Governance & Finance: Drive project administration, including contract management, budget tracking (PO/GR processing), and full-cycle inventory management (asset tracking, scrap segregation, and reuse).

  • Technical Design Review: Validate structural designs for new builds and upgrades to ensure safe loading, longevity, and compliance with TRC regulatory submissions.

  • Strategic Engineering: Develop cost-effective, innovative solutions for Core site development and manage vendor evaluations to ensure high-quality partnerships.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate the engineering team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous operational improvement.


Entry Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Certification: PMP or equivalent; CEng status is a significant advantage.

  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of steel infrastructure, telecom civil structures, and modern project management methodologies.

  • Experience: 5+ years of total experience, with at least 2 years specifically in telecommunications infrastructure.

  • Physical & Logistical: * Willingness to travel island-wide.

    • Comfortable working at heights.
