The Role & Responsibilities

As a Receptionist at Ardent Travels & Tours, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our company. Your role goes beyond answering phones and managing clerical tasks—you will embody the hospitality and professionalism that reflects our brand.

Core Responsibilities

  • Welcoming Guests and Clients: Create a positive first impression by warmly greeting visitors and clients as they arrive at the office. Ensure they feel comfortable and attended to while waiting.
  • Answering and Directing Calls: Manage the main phone line with courtesy and efficiency. Route calls to the appropriate departments and provide accurate information when needed.
  • Clerical and Administrative Duties: Handle day-to-day office administration, such as filing, photocopying, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records to support smooth business operations.
  • Managing Communication: Serve as a key link in internal and external communication by ensuring that messages and correspondence reach the right people promptly.
  • Maintaining the Reception Area: Keep the reception area organized, welcoming, and professional, reflecting the company’s high standards of customer service.
  • Supporting Travel Operations: Assist the team with clerical support for itineraries, client inquiries, and bookings when required, contributing to the seamless travel planning experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Office Management Software: Familiarity with tools like MS Office, email platforms, and scheduling systems to support administrative tasks.
  • Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional qualifications in Office Administration are considered an advantage.
