The Role & Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will play a central role in expanding CITL’s market presence and ensuring sustainable revenue growth. This position demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive IT environment. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and Executing Sales Strategies

You will be responsible for creating comprehensive sales plans that align with company objectives and industry trends. This includes identifying target markets, setting sales goals, and implementing tactical plans to capture opportunities in both existing and new business areas.

Building and Nurturing Client Relationships

As the face of CITL to many clients, you will cultivate strong, long-lasting partnerships. By understanding the specific challenges and objectives of each client, you will be able to recommend IT solutions that deliver maximum impact.

Prospecting and Business Development

Identifying potential business opportunities is at the heart of this role. You will engage in proactive prospecting, conduct market research, and attend networking events to expand CITL’s client base and market share.

Negotiating Contracts and Closing Deals

You will lead negotiations with prospective and existing clients, ensuring win-win agreements that support client needs while driving company revenue. Effective contract management will be crucial to maintaining both profitability and client satisfaction.

Collaborating with Technical Teams

Working closely with engineers, consultants, and project teams, you will ensure that proposed IT solutions are accurately delivered and aligned with client expectations. This collaboration ensures smooth implementation and customer retention.

Driving Revenue Growth

Ultimately, your performance will be measured by the ability to deliver consistent revenue growth through strategic planning, effective execution, and excellent client management.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong combination of technical knowledge and commercial acumen. The following qualifications are required:

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within the IT sector, demonstrating consistent achievement of targets.
  • Knowledge of IT products and services such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, Bit Defender, and ZOHO. This ensures you can communicate effectively with clients and propose the most suitable solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, allowing you to influence decision-makers and close complex deals with confidence.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, with an emphasis on trust, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field to provide a solid foundation in both technical and commercial disciplines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to assess client needs, identify potential challenges, and recommend tailored IT solutions.
  • Skills in IT solutions and software systems, giving you the ability to align customer requirements with available technologies.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when required, reflecting the fast-paced demands of the IT industry.
