The Role & Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you will be entrusted with leading initiatives that expand Autogroup International’s global footprint. Beyond simply driving sales, this role is about shaping market entry strategies, building long-term partnerships, and ensuring seamless execution across all stages of the business development cycle.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Qualification
Convert marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) into sales-qualified leads (SQLs) by engaging potential customers from social media campaigns, web inquiries, and email marketing efforts. You will ensure each opportunity is handled with precision, professionalism, and a focus on conversion. - International Prospecting
Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, structured email campaigns, and partner outreach to identify and engage prospects worldwide. Build distributor and dealer networks that create long-term, profitable relationships. - Market-Entry Strategies
Collaborate closely with the CEO, Digital Marketing Manager, and international sales teams to design and implement customized strategies for entering new markets. Each initiative will consider regional trends, competition, and customer behavior. - CRM Excellence
Maintain world-class CRM hygiene using Pipedrive, ensuring dashboards, sales forecasts, and funnel velocity reports remain accurate. This discipline will enable leadership teams to make data-driven decisions. - Content & Demand Generation
Contribute to the creation of newsletters, blog articles, and LinkedIn posts that enhance brand visibility, improve search rankings (SEO), and generate inbound demand. - Email Marketing Operations
Manage Mailchimp campaigns, focusing on list segmentation, growth strategies, A/B testing, and actionable performance insights to optimize engagement. - Market Intelligence
Conduct Total Addressable Market (TAM) sizing, competitor analysis, and pricing studies to refine offerings and guide executive decision-making. - Leverage AI & Automation
Use cutting-edge AI tools to research accounts, personalize outreach, automate workflows, and scale copywriting for international markets.

- Proven International Business Development Experience
Demonstrated success in creating new market opportunities and building strong partner networks, ideally in the automotive, premium technology, or industrial sectors. - Strong Deal-Closing Record
A track record of negotiating and finalizing complex, high-value contracts across diverse markets. - Exceptional Communication Skills
Professional-level English proficiency, including persuasive business writing and executive-level communication that resonates with global partners. - Digital Fluency
Comfort with digital platforms such as CRM systems (Pipedrive preferred), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Mailchimp, analytics dashboards, and Google Workspace tools. - Product Passion & Knowledge
A genuine interest in American pickup trucks, SUVs, muscle cars, and EVs, with the ability to translate this passion into compelling conversations with partners. - Adaptability & Execution Focus
