GEMS Cambridge International Private School – Sharjah is a leading educational institution in the United Arab Emirates, offering a high-quality British curriculum education to students from diverse backgrounds. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 1 Teacher to join our team in January 2026 on a full-time Fixed Term contract basis.

Position: Year 1 Teacher

Contract Type: Fixed Term

Curriculum: United Kingdom

Education Stage: Elementary/Primary School

Skills and Qualifications:

– Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Primary Education.
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred

– At least 2 years of teaching experience at the elementary/primary school level

– Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum for Year 1 students

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver effective instruction tailored to individual student needs
