Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Survey Inspector to join our Port Project in Kuwait. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring high-quality execution through accurate surveying, construction supervision, and strict adherence to project standards. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and hands-on experience to maintain project timelines and deliverables.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough site surveys and inspections across all phases of the port construction project.

  • Review design plans and provide technical input to improve project specifications.

  • Supervise construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards, project requirements, and safety regulations.

  • Utilize advanced survey equipment and techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret project data.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address technical challenges and maintain schedules.

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation.

  • Validate and review contractor survey data to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose effective mitigation strategies.

  • Participate in project meetings, providing expert advice on survey-related issues.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international construction codes throughout the project lifecycle.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in survey inspection, ideally within port or marine construction projects.

  • Proficient in advanced surveying techniques and equipment.

  • Strong understanding of construction management principles and best practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of GIS software is advantageous.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams and adapt to challenging project environments.
