Job Summary:
Air Arabia is seeking a dedicated Stores Officer to efficiently manage and control the company’s “Stores,” ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of tools, equipment, and spare parts used for both Air Arabia and 3rd Party aircraft maintenance. The role involves maintaining compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards while supporting daily maintenance operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain optimal stock levels in the Stores for daily operational needs, including tool kits, spare parts, wheels, batteries, oils, and other essential items.

  • Ensure timely availability of all tools and components for planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to guarantee aircraft readiness and safety.

  • Conduct daily inspections of storage areas, ensuring proper conditions, including temperature, humidity, safety, and hazard controls.

  • Manage binning locations and allocation of tools and parts in the Stores according to line manager or AOG desk instructions; update the AMOS system to reflect changes and replacements of consumables.

  • Accurately record and monitor all received and stored items in the AMOS system, considering material shelf life, tool calibration, shift handovers, and critical movements.

  • Pre-load system requirements (ADD/MDD) to ensure timely retrieval of items according to coding and storage systems.

  • Issue tools, kits, and spare parts for routine maintenance jobs, maintaining accurate tracking and receipts.

  • Provide ad-hoc inventory and store support for both Air Arabia and 3rd Party aircraft.

  • Ensure tools and equipment are serviceable at all times; liaise with the Rotables Team and vendors for repair or replacement of unserviceable items.

  • Return unused parts to stock according to company procedures and maintain proper records.

  • Prepare regular stock reports, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.

  • Support the line manager in maintaining safety, cleanliness, storage conditions, and overall Store performance.

  • Coordinate logistics for parts delivery and receipt, including engines, APUs, and dangerous goods, in collaboration with relevant departments.


Qualifications:

  • High School/Diploma or relevant certificate; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with high accuracy.

  • Excellent command of English.

  • Valid driving license for assigned location.


Experience & Skills:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within the airline industry; low-cost airline experience is a plus.

  • Experience with inventory software is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of civil aviation regulations for tool and equipment handling.

  • IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations training is a plus.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Familiarity with quality assurance, audits, and compliance procedures.

  • Able to work under pressure, physically fit, and capable of handling heavy equipment.

  • Dependable, proactive, and enthusiastic with a strong sense of ownership.
