Job Summary
This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing customer equipment across shop and on-site environments. As a Field Service Representative (FSR), you will support Schneider Electric products and, when required, competitive equipment, ensuring reliable performance, safety compliance, and a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, inspect, maintain, and repair Schneider Electric equipment at customer sites and in workshop settings

  • Perform startup and commissioning activities on Schneider Electric products and selected competitive equipment

  • Carry out preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance tasks

  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions using technical documentation, system knowledge, software tools, circuit diagrams, and test equipment

  • Complete warranty, recall, and retrofit work in line with company and regulatory standards

  • Prepare detailed service reports and clearly explain results to customers and internal stakeholders

  • Share technical knowledge and provide guidance to less experienced FSRs

  • Respond to emergency service calls and interventions as required

  • Maintain service tools, equipment, documentation, and accurate job traceability (timesheets, change orders, reports)

  • Escalate quality or technical issues identified in the field

  • Support planners, coordinators, and project managers with site condition assessments

  • Understand and explain EcoStruxure solutions and other Schneider Electric offerings to customers

  • Track installed base assets and perform basic electrical system audits (MPS walkthroughs)

  • Identify opportunities to optimize customer installations and contribute to lead generation

  • Use all designated digital tools for field service operations

  • Deliver best-in-class service while promoting the Schneider Electric service standard

  • Ensure all interventions strictly follow safety, cybersecurity, and prevention guidelines

Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere to all safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory policies and procedures

  • Use required personal protective equipment and follow approved prevention plans at all times

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate degree in electronics, electrical, or mechanical engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience

  • Alternatively, 4–5 years of equivalent hands-on experience in a related technical field

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds

  • Certifications or accreditations may be required based on business needs and local regulations

  • Clear communication and customer-facing skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Proactive mindset with attention to detail and documentation accuracy
