VXL Education Sri Lanka is looking for a Senior Student Counselor to join our Galle-based team. Since 2022, we have operated as a premier international visa and education consultancy with a global footprint spanning Australia, Nepal, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka. We pride ourselves on being a trusted partner for students, offering comprehensive support from the initial consultation to final pre-departure arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on suitable universities and programs based on academic and career goals

• Guide students through admissions, offer management, visa documentation & pre-departure support

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on institutions, intakes, entry requirements, scholarships & deadlines

• Manage student leads, follow-ups, and conversions to achieve targets

• Participate in student recruitment events, fairs, webinars, school visits & marketing activities

• Build strong relationships with partner institutions and stakeholders

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a smooth student journey

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years experience in student counseling/placements (study abroad industry)

• Strong destination knowledge in either: UK & Canada OR Australia & New Zealand

• Excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (CRM experience is an advantage)

• Professional fluency in English (Proficiency in Sinhala or Tamil is beneficial)

• A positive, professional, target-driven can-do attitude
