A purchasing manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Purchasing, Receiving, and Storeroom Department to ensure that all departments of the hotel have adequate supplies.

The role involves leading procurement functions, sourcing strategies, building relationships with reputable suppliers and vendors, and overseeing all purchasing documentation, contracts, and authorizations.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage the competitive bidding process to secure optimal pricing and terms for all goods and services.
• Work closely with various divisions to forecast purchasing needs aligned with seasonal demands, menus, and operational plans.
• Oversee all inventory processes, including month-end, quarterly, and annual counts, in collaboration with the Finance team.

Additional responsibilities include supporting the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, conducting market research, and identifying new materials, products, and suppliers that align with sustainability goals and operational needs.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can lead our Purchasing function during a pre-opening phase. The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial and financial acumen, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a deep understanding of internal controls, compliance frameworks, and audit standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Purchasing within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Proven success in leading a Purchasing function during a pre-opening or rebranding phase is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in cost control, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
