About the Role

Egis is looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to support a major site supervision project in Kuwait City, Kuwait. This role plays a key part in ensuring that HVAC systems are installed, tested, and maintained to the highest technical and safety standards. You will work closely with project teams and contractors to ensure systems operate efficiently, reliably, and in full compliance with local regulations.

This position offers an opportunity to lead HVAC execution on large-scale commercial and industrial developments while contributing to energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site HVAC installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works

• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs, building standards, and safety requirements

• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and keep work on schedule

• Review, evaluate, and approve HVAC drawings, layouts, and technical submittals

• Perform energy modeling and technical analysis to improve system performance and efficiency

• Establish and apply quality control procedures for HVAC works

• Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and site technicians

• Prepare detailed progress reports, including issues identified and corrective actions taken

• Ensure full compliance with Kuwait’s local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings to clarify technical requirements and address concerns

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Valid membership with the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE)

• At least 15 years of HVAC engineering experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a Senior HVAC Engineer role focused on site supervision

• Strong expertise in HVAC system design, installation, testing, and troubleshooting for commercial and industrial projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software

• Experience using energy modeling tools and applying energy-efficiency best practices

• Thorough knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly those applicable in Kuwait

• Excellent project coordination and multi-tasking capabilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex HVAC challenges

• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, site-based project environments

• Willingness to work across different sites in Kuwait City and nearby areas
