Role Summary
EY is seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in Data Privacy to join our Jordan Resources Hub. In this role, you will work with an international team of specialists, advising clients on managing data protection and privacy risks while enhancing their operational efficiency. This position offers exposure to leading privacy practices and technologies, allowing you to shape sustainable, measurable privacy programs across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities

Lead client engagements and internal initiatives in data privacy and technology compliance.

Help clients evaluate and enhance their privacy programs to ensure compliance with local and global regulations while building consumer trust.

Collaborate with privacy and data protection managers to assess the role of IT systems in organizational compliance.

Research and assess emerging Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) for potential efficiency gains and privacy impact.

Advise clients on managing privacy programs, including gap remediation, maturity enhancement, measurement improvements, and sustainable process design.

Travel within MENA up to 80% of the time.
Skills and Attributes

Deliver high-quality client services while staying current with industry trends and developments.

Demonstrate technical expertise in complex data processing systems and the ability to communicate insights effectively to clients and teams.

Analytical mindset with experience in data analytics methods and risk assessment of privacy controls.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data, Law, Management Science, or related fields.

3–5 years of relevant work experience in data privacy, compliance, or technology.

Hands-on experience in:
-
Assessing client risk and compliance against privacy regulations.
-
Designing or operationalizing privacy programs.
-
Supporting Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs).
-

Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as GDPR, PDPL, and similar methodologies.

Experience conducting privacy risk assessments and control testing.

Relevant certifications (CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT) are a plus.

Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
