Manager, Security – Cinnamon Wild Yala

We are seeking a dedicated and strategic security leader to join the team at Cinnamon Wild Yala. This role is fundamental to maintaining the sanctuary-like atmosphere of our resort by ensuring the highest standards of safety for our guests and staff. Responsibilities

• Ensure that a secure environment is guaranteed preventing any type of threat or breach.

• Ensure that all necessary steps are taken to ensure safety of all guests, employees and assets of the hotel.

• Convene daily coordinating meetings and debriefs with security section.

• Conduct periodical Risk / Threat assessment and submit to Resort Manager for approval. Thereafter submit them to Group Head of Security.

• Formulate SOPs for all contingencies.

• Take necessary steps to establish an effective CCTV system to monitor & protect data & assets.

• Ensure that outsourced security guards adhere to hotel standards / requirements.

• Perform assessment on outsourced security personnel.

• Coordinate with outsourced security companies for equipment, performance and training.

• Organize training and awareness for security staff and conduct periodical rehearsals for all perceived contingencies.

• Be thorough on business continuity plans, data protection policies and relevant health & safety policies and protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Training in Emergency Response, Business Continuity, First Aid, or Disaster Management is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of hotel security operations and risk management principles.

• Knowledge of data protection fundamentals and business continuity frameworks.

• Expertise in surveillance systems (CCTV), alarm systems, and access control technologies.

• Ability to develop SOPs, contingency plans, and incident reports.

• Strong coordination and communication skills with internal teams, outsourced vendors, and local authorities.

• Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements relevant to hospitality security.

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive security experience, preferably in hospitality, military, law enforcement, or corporate security.

• Proven experience managing outsourced security teams and leading multi-shift operations.

• Strong track record in risk assessments, emergency response, and incident investigation.

• Experience collaborating with local authorities and first responders.

• Strong understanding of hotel security operations and risk management principles.

• Training in Emergency Response, Business Continuity, First Aid, or Disaster Management is an advantage.
