Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor based in Kandy. Key responsibilities include preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), controlling project costs, developing cost plans, and producing comprehensive cost reports. The Quantity Surveyor will play an integral role in overseeing budgets and ensuring project cost efficiency throughout all stages of construction.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in cost-related competencies such as Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning
• Strong expertise in preparing and analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Cost Reporting
• Highly refined analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with clients and teams
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and cost estimation
• Familiarity with construction and engineering standards, codes, and methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation is essential
