Quality Assurance Officer

In this role, you will be the frontline guardian of our product integrity and safety standards. You will play a vital part in our production lifecycle, ensuring that every batch meets the high expectations our customers have come to rely on. By blending technical oversight with a proactive approach to food safety, you will help maintain the excellence that defines our brand while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor tea blending, metal detection, and packing processes.

• Ensure compliance with product specifications at each stage.

• Perform line clearance before and after production runs.

• Verify final product parameters: weight, appearance, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy.

• Enforce GMP, GHP, and personal hygiene practices on the shop floor.

• Report on any food safety risks or unsafe practices immediately.

• Maintain accurate QA records, inspection logs, and checklists.

• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

• Ensure daily operations comply with QMS, SOPs, and work instructions.

• Communicate quality issues clearly to supervisors and managers.

Candidate Requirements:

• Advanced Level qualification or Diploma in a relevant field

• Willingness to work on a roster basis, including day and night shifts

• Prior experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control will be an added advantage

Work Location: Our operations hub in Welisara – applicants residing nearby will be given preference.
