Job Summary
PwC Academy Middle East is looking for a talented Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions while working in a collaborative and flexible environment. You will contribute to bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world business experience, working with innovative technologies and Fortune 500 clients.
Key Responsibilities

Customize and configure Salesforce applications to align with business requirements.

Develop Apex classes, SOQL queries, triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce pages.

Build and maintain front-end components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement effective solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability.

Perform DevOps activities, including server and package upgrades.

Utilize Linux shell scripting for server maintenance and automation tasks.
Requirements & Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer (preferred).

Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Developer II is an advantage.

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools.

Familiarity with Linux environments and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.

PHP experience is advantageous.

Proficient with Git for version control.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Hands-on experience across the full application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
