Overview
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer / Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to lead the regulatory and compliance function of our ADGM-licensed corporate services platform. The ideal candidate will bring 5–7 years of hands-on experience in compliance, AML/CFT, and regulatory liaison within ADGM, specifically within a CSP or DNFBP environment.
This is a key role requiring strong technical knowledge of ADGM’s regulatory framework, independent judgment, and the ability to engage confidently with regulators, internal stakeholders, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the designated MLRO, responsible for overseeing AML/CFT compliance in accordance with ADGM regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact with the ADGM Registration Authority and FSRA, ensuring timely and accurate regulatory filings and responses.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with ADGM requirements.
• Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD), risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring for all ADGM entities under administration.
• Lead internal compliance reviews, audits, and staff training on AML/CFT obligations.
• Review and approve onboarding of clients, shareholders, UBOs, and transactions in accordance with DNFBP obligations.
• Investigate and report suspicious activities (SARs) to the relevant authorities.
• Advise senior management on emerging regulatory developments, risks, and best practices.
Requirements
• 5–7 years of direct experience as a Compliance Officer / MLRO in ADGM.
• Prior experience within a CSP, corporate services provider, or DNFBP entity is essential.
• Strong understanding of ADGM AML Rulebook, RA regulations, and DNFBP requirements.
• Proven experience liaising with the ADGM Registration Authority and/or FSRA.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
• Relevant professional certifications (CAMS).
