MEP Engineer – Real Estate (High-Rise Projects)

Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer with experience in high-rise residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will oversee MEP design, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to integrate MEP systems efficiently.
• Prepare detailed MEP designs, layouts, and schematics for high-rise buildings.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design and installation conflicts.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Supervise and monitor on-site MEP installations, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and as-built drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues during construction and post-handover.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
• Minimum [X] years of experience in MEP engineering for high-rise residential or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design software.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of international and local codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, Dubai Municipality, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month
