Job Title: Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our multicultural and diverse operations team in Kuwait. In this role, you will handle routine shift duties, mechanical repairs, and support both planned and emergency shutdowns. You will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining key plant equipment including EAF, LF, CCM, EOT Cranes, raw material handling systems, FTP units, fans, pumps, and air compressors to ensure smooth and safe production.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to SAP work orders, providing accurate and timely job feedback.

Inspect assigned equipment and plant areas, identify irregularities, and log observations in SAP checklists and logbooks.

Rectify detected faults under the guidance of supervisors and senior technicians.

Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to reduce downtime and avoid unplanned shutdowns.

Follow operational instructions, safety standards, and maintenance procedures set by management.

Work closely with other departments to ensure coordinated and efficient plant operations.

Carry out daily shift duties and track unresolved technical issues until closure.

Maintain equipment and facilities, perform repair work, and ensure critical spares are available.

Handle tools correctly, maintain good housekeeping, and contribute to cost-effective maintenance practices.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
