Junior Accountant in Gurgaon, Delhi

Job description

CGI is seeking a motivated junior accountant with 1 year of experience to join our finance & accounts team. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This position is ideal for someone who wants to sharpen their accounting skills and grow into a senior finance role in the future.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
• Support in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and tax-related filings.
• Verify invoices, vouchers, and expense claims for accuracy.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Support payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Maintain updated financial data using Tally Prime and Excel.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as assigned.
