Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to lead, implement, and continuously improve project-specific HSE standards. This role is responsible for proactively identifying hazards, minimizing risks, and ensuring a safe working environment to prevent injuries, incidents, and property damage across project sites.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental plans, policies, and procedures.

Ensure full compliance with company HSE policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Design, manage, and monitor the overall project safety program from initiation through completion.

Conduct regular site safety audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to all relevant safety codes and regulations.

Prepare and oversee risk assessments, ensuring effective controls are in place and reviewed regularly.

Manage near-miss reporting, analysis, and corrective action processes.

Establish emergency response plans and coordinate drills and related training activities.

Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for site personnel.

Set clear project HSE objectives and track progress against defined targets.

Measure project safety performance by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting leading and lagging HSE indicators.

In-depth understanding of HSE management systems, tools, and industry best practices.

Comprehensive knowledge of current HSE legislation and compliance requirements.

Proven leadership, people management, and effective communication skills.
Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HSE management within the construction industry.

Accredited by the Labor Ministry as an HSE Supervisor.
Certifications
-
NEBOSH Diploma, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or an equivalent professional qualification.

ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or Implementer certification is preferred.
