Job Summary
The Housekeeping Manager at Conrad Dubai leads all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring consistently high standards and an outstanding experience for Guests and Members. This role focuses on operational excellence, guest satisfaction, team leadership, and effective cost and resource management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all housekeeping and laundry functions to meet brand and service standards.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction, analyze feedback trends, and implement improvements.

  • Control departmental budgets through efficient scheduling, inventory management, and cost controls.

  • Establish department goals, work plans, policies, and procedures aligned with hotel objectives.

  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, fixtures, and equipment, taking corrective action where required.

  • Oversee team appearance, performance, and service quality, with strong emphasis on training and teamwork.

  • Ensure team members maintain thorough knowledge of room categories, facilities, and amenities.

  • Maintain effective communication and professional relationships across departments and with suppliers.

  • Plan staffing levels to meet operational demands and business volumes.

  • Lead ongoing training initiatives and conduct regular communication meetings with documented outcomes.

  • Address performance and conduct matters in line with company policies and procedures.

  • Recruit, coach, and develop the housekeeping and laundry team.

  • Use property management systems effectively to support daily operations.

  • Support other hotel departments as operational needs require.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven housekeeping or laundry experience within hotel, leisure, or retail environments in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams successfully.

  • Strong commercial awareness with effective cost and budget control skills.

  • Experience managing departmental operations and Profit & Loss accounts.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and planning skills.

  • Flexibility to adapt to varying operational requirements.
