Job Summary

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you will play a key role in supporting both the Housekeeping and Laundry teams. The position focuses on coordinating guest requests, assigning tasks efficiently among team members, and ensuring all services are delivered promptly. Your contribution will help maintain the brand’s luxury standards and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain consistently high operating standards across all Housekeeping and Laundry areas in line with hotel brand and Forbes standards

• Deliver courteous, professional, and personalized service to all guests

• Coordinate room availability and release in collaboration with Floor Housekeeping Supervisors

• Oversee housekeeping controls, including staff scheduling, master key release, incident records, and uniform and linen tracking

• Review daily guest information to ensure preferences and special requests are fulfilled on time

• Arrange flowers for special occasions such as weddings and maternity stays, and coordinate embroidery for special linens

• Inspect uniforms regularly and arrange cleaning or repairs as required

• Manage daily guest laundry releases for those using the laundry service

• Step in to cover Laundry Attendant duties during holidays, days off, or staff absences

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal abilities and attention to detail

• Creative problem-solving and the ability to think proactively

• Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office

• Strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality or a similar high-end environment

• Knowledge of Forbes standards

• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
