Job Summary
A Housekeeping Attendant plays a key role in supporting both the Housekeeping and Laundry departments by coordinating daily activities, handling guest requests, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. This role focuses on maintaining high operational standards while delivering a consistently excellent experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain consistently high standards across all Housekeeping and Laundry operations in line with brand guidelines.

Supervise the appearance, performance, and standards of Housekeeping and Laundry team members, with a strong focus on training and teamwork.

Deliver courteous, professional, and timely guest service at all times.

Coordinate room availability and timely room release in collaboration with Floor Housekeeping Supervisors.

Manage departmental controls, including staff scheduling frequency, master key distribution, incident logs, and uniform and linen inventory.

Review daily guest information in the CRM system and ensure guest preferences and special requests are fulfilled promptly.

Arrange flowers for special occasions and coordinate embroidery or special linen for events such as weddings and guest pampering.

Oversee monthly Lost and Found records and donation processes.

Inspect uniforms regularly and arrange cleaning or repairs when required.

Coordinate and monitor the flow of documents, linen, and personnel within the department.

Release laundry linen daily and manage guest clothing returns for laundry services.

Complete monthly laundry expense closures and related provisions.

Provide cover for the Laundry Attendant during holidays, days off, or absences.
Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping environment.

Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
