Hot Section Chef – Arabic Breakfast Specialty

Kabab Al Bastakiah is known for its authentic flavors, blending traditional recipes with exceptional hospitality. As we expand our breakfast offerings, we are seeking a skilled Hot Section Chef who can deliver high-quality Arabic breakfast dishes with consistency and creativity.

The Hot Section Chef will lead the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all hot Arabic breakfast items, ensuring authenticity, flavor consistency, and high standards that reflect the identity of Kabab Al Bastakiah Restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook all hot Arabic breakfast dishes, including: Shakshouka, Foul Medames, Balaleet, Emirati eggs (Baid wa Tomat, etc.), Chabab/Khameer hot preparation, Omelettes and egg variations.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to traditional flavors and restaurant standards.
• Maintain mise-en-place for breakfast service and ensure timely preparation.
• Collaborate with the head chef on menu updates and new breakfast items.
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety (HACCP) at all times.
• Monitor food quality, consistency, and portion control.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment related to the hot section.
• Assist in staff training related to Arabic breakfast preparation.
• Uphold the restaurant’s values of authenticity, quality, and hospitality.

Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of Arabic and Emirati breakfast cuisine.
• Ability to work efficiently during peak breakfast hours.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a traditional or casual dining environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE food handling and hygiene standards.
• Creativity in presentation and menu enhancement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 – AED4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
• Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Experience:
• Arabic Breakfast: 3 years (Preferred)
