About the Role

As a Hospital Pharmacist at our Kandy facility, you will serve as a critical bridge between medical prescriptions and patient recovery. This on-site position focuses on the precise management of pharmaceutical services, from the technical aspects of compounding to the clinical responsibility of advising medical staff. You will be an integrated member of the healthcare team, ensuring that every dose dispensed meets our high standards for safety and therapeutic efficacy.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Pharmacy and Medicine, including a thorough understanding of pharmaceuticals and their applications in patient care

• Proficiency in Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Care, ensuring proper medication use and patient safety

• Experience in Compounding and preparing medications as required

• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and support patient education

• Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences is required

• Licensure as a pharmacist in Sri Lanka is essential

• Familiarity with hospital information systems is an advantage

• Candidates with previous hospital pharmacy experience will have an added advantage
