Mainframe (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a visionary Head of Software & Product Development to spearhead our technical evolution. In this pivotal leadership role, you will orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of high-impact software solutions, including our premier online gaming and sportsbook platform, BETSS.COM. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business objectives and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end software and product delivery across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring scope, timelines, quality, and budgets are achieved • * Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams including software engineers, QA, DevOps, product teams, and external vendors • * Ensure timely and high-quality delivery while balancing scope, resources, technical complexity, and business priorities • * Provide clear direction, motivation, and performance management to teams throughout the development lifecycle • * Define product and project scope, delivery roadmaps, schedules, milestones, and release plans • * Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, senior management, and technical teams • * Monitor resource utilization, delivery efficiency, and overall project and product costs • * Manage internal and external stakeholder communications, ensuring transparency and expectation management • * Identify delivery, technical, and operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies • * Review, approve, and manage change requests to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives • * Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and reports to senior management • * Oversee testing, QA processes, ISO compliance activities, and ensure documentation meets audit and regulatory standards • * Analyze delivery outcomes, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement initiatives • * Propose and implement process, tooling, and governance enhancements to improve delivery maturity and product quality

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field • * 10+ years of experience in software development and delivery, with significant experience in senior leadership or head-level roles • * Strong background in leading large-scale software and product development initiatives • * Certifications such as PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Agile leadership certifications are a strong advantage • * Prior experience in online gaming, sportsbook platforms, fintech, or high-volume transaction systems will be an added advantage • * Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Azure DevOps, etc.) • * Strong understanding of SDLC, product lifecycle management, release planning, and delivery governance • * Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, including exposure to government tender and compliance requirements • * Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
