Job Summary
The Butler Supervisor at Fairmont Amman plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional, personalized service to our residents. This leadership role involves overseeing the Butler team, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining Fairmont’s high standards of luxury hospitality. You will be responsible for coordinating with multiple departments, mentoring staff, and guaranteeing that residents receive seamless, proactive service that exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Manage, supervise, and guide all Butler staff, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently.

Assign and oversee work for both supervisory and non-supervisory personnel.

Monitor butlers to guarantee prompt, courteous, and personalized resident service.

Liaise with other departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Laundry, Sales, Food & Beverage, and Reservations to ensure consistent service and VIP attention.

Conduct routine inspections of all Butler areas, including occupied and unoccupied rooms, pantries, and amenities.

Evaluate staff performance, appearance, and discipline; implement corrective actions when necessary.

Control resident supply usage and maintain relevant procedures for lost and found, key control, security, and safety.

Ensure Fairmont standards are consistently applied and upheld.

Promote upselling and maximize the use of hotel products and facilities.

Provide regular feedback, recognition, and appreciation to butlers for their efforts.

Greet repeat and special-attention residents, updating profiles as needed.

Organize regular trainings and role-playing exercises to reinforce service standards.

Maintain clear communication with the Director of Rooms regarding team assignments and operations.
Qualifications & Skills

Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with residents effectively.

Experience managing a multicultural team.

High level of integrity, flexibility, and dedication to continuous improvement.

Comprehensive knowledge of Butler Service Operations.

Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver their best performance.

Familiarity with Opera Property Management System preferred.

Capacity to prioritize and delegate tasks while maintaining professionalism under interruptions.

Knowledge of security, confidentiality, and guest service protocols.
Preferred Experience
-
Previous leadership experience in luxury guest relations or Butler operations.

Strong background in luxury service and Food & Beverage.

Experience with property management systems and tools such as Opera PMS, Le Club Accor, Royal Service, Kipsu, LQA, WebWorks, and Time & Attendance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.

Excellent command of English.
