Job Summary:
The Government Relations Coordinator will manage and support all aspects of visas, permits, licenses, and other governmental requirements crucial to the business. This role involves liaising with relevant authorities, maintaining compliance, and ensuring smooth processing of governmental transactions for team members, management, and their families.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all visa applications, cancellations, and liaise directly with immigration authorities regarding visa matters for staff and their families.

  • Maintain strong relationships with government departments including immigration, health, ministry of information, traffic police, and other relevant authorities.

  • Assist with police and court cases, immigration, labor issues, and related legal matters.

  • Keep accurate records of passports and visa expiry dates, proactively notifying team members and renewing visas before expiration.

  • Facilitate visa arrangements for key personnel traveling abroad.

Supportive Functions:

  • Safeguard all team members’ passports.

  • Ensure food handlers possess valid occupational health cards and renew expiring cards on time.

  • Update and maintain police reports in the system.

  • Execute fire, safety, and evacuation procedures according to hotel policy.

  • Uphold Hilton’s hygiene and personal presentation standards.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the General Manager or Director of Human Resources.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences, demonstrating patience, tact, and diplomacy.

  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows systems.
