Expert, Emerging and Sectoral Statistics Management

Job description

Preferably has a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree or Doctorate (Statistics, Economics or Social Science).
– **For UAE nationals**, preferably with 6 to 9 years of work experience. **For Non-UAE nationals**, preferably 8 to 11 years of work experience.
– At least two years in a management or expert role.
– Experience in Abu Dhabi Government entity or leading private sector firm as a statistician.
– Experience of working with international statistics bodies
– Provide expertise to the Department and advice at Sector level across the statistics cycle, with reference to the design, development and production of statistics, proposing recommendations for improvements; lead directors, managers and specialists in statistical processing, analysis and finalisation to ensure that statistical products serve the company’s mandate and role in Abu Dhabi’s statistical ecosystem, meet the needs of users and comply with applicable legal and other requirements; support the development of company’s statistical maturity levels and capabilities.
