Job Summary:
Kuwait Steel is seeking a skilled and proactive Electronic Specialist to join our diverse and multicultural team. The role focuses on maintaining, inspecting, and upgrading electronic systems critical to steel production. The successful candidate will ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and efficiency of equipment, contributing directly to uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, and maintain electronic systems used in steel manufacturing, including sensors, control panels, automation systems, and communication devices.

Diagnose and resolve electronic issues using specialized tools, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure consistent performance of electronic equipment.

Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electronic specifications to understand system configurations and components.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and component replacements.

Uphold HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) and quality standards by complying with Kuwait Steel policies, ISO management systems, and local regulations.

Participate in workplace HSE initiatives, ensuring safety practices are consistently applied and contributing to company safety targets.
Qualifications:
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electronic systems, automation, PLC programming, and control theory, preferably within rolling mills.

Hands-on experience with measurement instruments, sensors, and control systems used in steel manufacturing.
Skills:

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for electronic systems.

Knowledge of SCADA systems, HMI design, and data analysis tools.

Effective communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
