Digital Delivery Lead – Marketing Operations (AU Practice)


The Vision

We are seeking a high-impact leader to spearhead our marketing execution engine. As the Digital Delivery Lead, you will transform high-level strategy into high-performing reality. This is a senior role designed for a systems-thinker who thrives on turning complex briefs into structured, scalable campaigns. You will serve as the vital link between creative vision and technical precision, ensuring every project under your watch is optimized for maximum ROI and flawless delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Performance Ownership & Strategy Execution • Campaign Auditing: Confidently audit ad accounts (Meta, Google, etc.), identifying underperforming metrics and making logical optimization decisions (scaling vs. killing ads). • Testing Frameworks: Build and enforce structured testing frameworks for ads, creatives, landing pages, and funnels. • Data-Driven Decisions: Use cold data, not opinions, to drive improvements in client performance and internal efficiency.

  2. Operational Excellence & SOPs • Process Engineering: Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across marketing and creative delivery to reduce chaos and ensure scalability. • System Building: Move knowledge from individual heads into structured systems, ensuring the team operates with predictability rather than ad-hoc reactions. • Resource Allocation: Ensure tasks are properly scoped, assigned, and delivered on time, identifying capability gaps and recommending new hires when necessary.

  3. Team Leadership & Accountability • Mentorship: Manage and coach a team of junior marketers and designers, leading without micromanaging. • Governance: Lead weekly performance and delivery review meetings, holding the team accountable for both deadlines and result quality. • Independent Operation: Operate with high autonomy, making critical decisions and solving problems without needing constant supervision or “babysitting.”


Candidate Profile

Experience & Qualifications • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading a small-to-mid-sized marketing team within a performance-driven agency. • Campaign Mastery: Significant experience managing and scaling high-budget marketing campaigns across various digital channels. • Technical Sharpness: Deep understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), funnel architecture, and paid media mechanics.

Soft Skills & Attributes • Systems Thinker: You enjoy building the “machine” and finding ways to make delivery stable and predictable. • Accountability: You are comfortable being the person where “the buck stops” regarding campaign outcomes. • Clear Communicator: Ability to explain complex performance issues simply and hold team members to high standards.
