About the Role
Egis is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to support a major port development project in Kuwait. This senior role is critical to ensuring effective contract administration, risk management, and commercial performance across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Role Summary:
You will lead contract management activities for a large-scale maritime infrastructure project, working closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance, financial control, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Draft, negotiate, and administer complex contracts related to the port project in line with local and international standards

Manage the full contract lifecycle, from initial setup through completion and closeout

Establish and maintain robust contract management procedures and reporting systems

Identify contractual risks early and proactively manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to align contractual and project objectives

Monitor contract-related financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
-
Prepare clear and timely progress reports for senior management and key stakeholders

Ensure compliance with local construction laws, maritime regulations, and global best practices
Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

At least 15 years of experience in contract management on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects

Strong expertise in international contract law, including FIDIC-based contracts
-
Demonstrated success in managing high-value, complex contracts and resolving contractual disputes

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Proven leadership capability and experience working within multicultural project teams

Willingness to relocate to Kuwait for the duration of the project
