About the Role

Egis is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to support a major port development project in Kuwait. This senior role is critical to ensuring effective contract administration, risk management, and commercial performance across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Role Summary:
You will lead contract management activities for a large-scale maritime infrastructure project, working closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance, financial control, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and administer complex contracts related to the port project in line with local and international standards

• Manage the full contract lifecycle, from initial setup through completion and closeout

• Establish and maintain robust contract management procedures and reporting systems

• Identify contractual risks early and proactively manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to align contractual and project objectives

• Monitor contract-related financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and cost reports

• Prepare clear and timely progress reports for senior management and key stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with local construction laws, maritime regulations, and global best practices

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

• At least 15 years of experience in contract management on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects

• Strong expertise in international contract law, including FIDIC-based contracts

• Demonstrated success in managing high-value, complex contracts and resolving contractual disputes

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Proven leadership capability and experience working within multicultural project teams

• Willingness to relocate to Kuwait for the duration of the project
