Job Description

Position: Cluster General Manager
Hotels: Novotel & Mercure Alanoud
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for an accomplished and driven Cluster General Manager to lead Novotel & Mercure Alanoud in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing multiple properties, ensuring strong operational performance, sustainable financial results, and consistently high levels of guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction while inspiring teams to deliver excellence across the cluster.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute strategic plans to grow revenue, profitability, and market presence across all hotels in the cluster

• Manage daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring consistent service quality and memorable guest experiences

• Lead, mentor, and motivate hotel leadership teams and colleagues, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

• Oversee financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and effective cost control

• Drive sales, marketing, and revenue management strategies to improve occupancy and RevPAR

• Ensure full compliance with brand standards, company policies, and local regulatory requirements

• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, corporate stakeholders, and local authorities

• Introduce innovative initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction

• Supervise property upkeep, refurbishment projects, and capital expenditure plans

• Handle crisis situations proactively and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is an advantage

• At least 10 years of senior hospitality management experience, including proven success in cluster or multi-property roles

• Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L responsibility

• Inspiring leadership style with the ability to develop and retain high-performing teams

• Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills

• Track record of delivering operational excellence and exceeding guest expectations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels

• Solid understanding of the luxury hospitality segment and current industry trends

• Experience in revenue management and optimization techniques

• Proficiency in hotel management systems and related technologies

• Knowledge of Middle Eastern culture and business practices

• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and manage changing priorities

• Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia
