Join a pioneering technical and vocational training institution in Amman as our Campus Director, leading the campus from its pre-opening phase through full operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership, shaping the institution’s impact on students, industry, and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the pre-opening of the campus, managing construction, procurement of technical equipment, recruitment, and facility setup.

  • Build and foster a cohesive, mission-driven team while establishing a positive campus culture.

  • Design and implement strategic plans that align with labor market needs and the institution’s vision.

  • Establish operational systems, policies, and procedures to ensure academic and administrative excellence.

  • Oversee the development and quality of TVET programs, ensuring curriculum relevance and industry alignment.

  • Forge partnerships with local industry, government, and community stakeholders to create internships, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities for students.

  • Manage campus infrastructure, operations, and risk, ensuring compliance with national and local regulations.

  • Develop and manage the annual budget, capital planning, and financial reporting.

  • Support student recruitment, enrollment, and campus experience, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum of 8 years’ senior-level experience managing large campuses or facilities.

  • Strong background in TVET, including technical curricula, pedagogy, and equipment management.

  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities, particularly in pre-opening educational institutions.

  • Experience engaging diverse stakeholders, including government and community partners.

  • Solid financial skills, with experience in budgeting, audits, and reporting.

  • Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience establishing and managing specialized workshops and laboratories.

  • Knowledge of property and infrastructure management, HR processes, and coordination with third parties.

  • Background in higher education, community colleges, or residential/hospitality management is advantageous.

  • Experience in grant management and handling public funding mechanisms is highly valued.
