Prime Gourmet, a leading premium butcher and gourmet meat provider in the UAE, is currently hiring experienced Butchers to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled meat professionals to be part of a high-quality, customer-focused brand known for delivering the best cuts and service. As a butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting meat to the highest standards, ensuring quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction at all times.
🎯 Job Responsibilities
Cut, trim, bone, and portion meat and poultry products per customer requirements
Maintain cleanliness and safety of meat preparation areas and tools
Inspect meat products for quality and freshness
Prepare value-added meat items such as marinated cuts or custom packages
Display meats in refrigerated cases for retail sales
Take customer orders and provide meat recommendations and cooking tips
Follow strict hygiene and food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
Assist with inventory control, receiving, and storage of meat products
Work as part of a team to meet store and production goals
🎓 Education & Qualifications
High School Certificate or equivalent
Formal training or certification in meat processing is a plus
Minimum 2–3 years of butcher experience (retail or wholesale)
Strong knife handling and portioning skills
Familiarity with halal meat preparation and local hygiene regulations
Good communication skills in English
Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 kg
💰 Salary & Benefits
Monthly Salary: AED 2,500 – AED 4,000 (commensurate with experience)
