About the Role
The Business Portfolio Manager (BPM) at S&P Global Energy plays a central role in enhancing the efficiency of Commercial Teams while ensuring an exceptional experience for clients. Acting as a bridge between Commercial Managers, Contract Support, Fulfillment, Order Management, and Collections, the BPM streamlines contract workflows, accelerates processes, and contributes directly to client satisfaction and loyalty. This role enables Commercial teams to focus on revenue-generating activities while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Commercial Contract Support (CCS), Order Management (OM), and Collections (CFR) teams to implement contracts, trials, and service changes efficiently.

Manage auto-renewals, multi-year agreements, and ad hoc sales to ensure seamless service continuity for clients.

Monitor expiring contracts within six months and coordinate timely communication with Commercial Managers and clients regarding renewals.

Prepare and maintain documentation, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Service Agreements (SAs), ensuring compliance with legal and pricing standards.

Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline and reporting.

Respond promptly to client inquiries, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.

Track and resolve contract escalations to sustain strong client relationships.

Support management in preparing impactful presentations by gathering insights and creating visual materials.

Assist in contract negotiations and consolidations, providing essential information on invoicing and payments.

Aid Commercial Managers and Client Development Managers in business management and account planning, including support during client visits.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience in sales support or order administration.

Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Independent, proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and financial skills.

High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or business-related training.

Knowledge of Salesforce, order processing, and customer service.
