About the Role

Egis is looking for a highly organized and analytical Building Engineer to support a site supervision project in Kuwait. This role plays a key part in ensuring that construction works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while meeting project timelines.

This position offers an opportunity to work on large-scale developments and contribute directly to the successful execution of complex building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and schedules

• Carry out routine site inspections to verify workmanship quality, safety compliance, and construction progress

• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to address technical challenges and keep works on track

• Review, check, and approve shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documents

• Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and technical documentation

• Ensure all works comply with Kuwait’s building codes, safety rules, and regulatory requirements

• Identify construction risks or conflicts and recommend practical solutions

• Attend project meetings and provide clear progress updates to senior management

• Monitor quality control procedures and initiate corrective actions when required

• Work closely with the project team to improve construction methods and site efficiency

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline

• Valid membership with the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE)

• At least 12 years of experience in building engineering and site supervision, ideally on large-scale projects

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, CAD software, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools

• Solid understanding of construction safety standards and quality assurance practices

• Good knowledge of Kuwait’s building regulations and local compliance requirements

• Excellent project coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication, including technical reporting

• Ability to work collaboratively while leading on-site teams effectively

• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
