Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations, ensuring that our leisure sector performance is accurately tracked and reported. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual looking to manage diverse accounting functions within a dynamic environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following;

  • Reporting cash & bank balance and daily bank reconciliation

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Daily accounting system updating, regular verifications and reconciliation.

  • Remain in regular contacts with clients and meet their needs (bankers, suppliers, institution)

  • Ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation

  • Maintaining the process of collections and deposits, sending customer invoices on time while following up their requirements

  • Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other applicable taxes

  • Arrange relevant payments with a proper schedule and maintaining records

  • Assist with audits

  • Managing the monthly variance, ensure that bank reconciliation and relevant processes are going smoothly.

  • Evaluate and report leisure sector performance to the management.


KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of Accounts related working experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Fully qualified in AAT or partly qualified in CIMA/ACCA or ICASL.

  • Advance knowledge in MS Office and exposure to computerized accounting environment and Proficiency in accounting softwares.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, managing time effectively with a rigorous work ethic.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations

  • Be self-organized and enthusiastic.

  • Sound knowledge of English in both written and verbal.
