Role Overview
The Finance Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the hotel’s finance leadership and is positioned as a trusted business partner within the property. This role works closely with the Finance Manager to help attract, develop, and retain high-performing finance professionals while fostering a culture where the team can thrive. By communicating clearly, maintaining strong controls and compliance, and supporting finance innovation initiatives, the role contributes to an efficient, value-driven finance function that supports owners, stakeholders, and long-term profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Manager in overseeing daily hotel finance operations, ensuring full compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.

  • Assist in monitoring and improving financial performance through accurate analysis, reporting, and insights.

  • Coordinate and review month-end closing activities and monthly financial statements in line with GAAP, the Uniform System of Accounts, and Hilton standards.

  • Partner with hotel finance team members and hotel management to build strong working relationships across departments such as Operations, Commercial, IT, Procurement, Shared Service Centers (where applicable), Owners, Asset Managers, and Regional Operations Finance.

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to support effective decision-making.

  • Step in as department lead during the absence of the Finance Manager, assuming full responsibility for finance operations.

  • Contribute to the development of a high-performing hotel finance team by participating in relevant finance training and development programs.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong ability to analyze complex financial data from multiple sources and translate it into meaningful reports, forecasts, and projections.

  • Proven problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to resolving issues.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks and prevent potential problems before they arise.

  • Capability to support and develop problem-solving skills within the team.

  • Demonstrated initiative in prioritizing tasks and delivering results effectively.

  • Experience in managing, coaching, and developing staff.

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to prepare clear presentations and confidently present to hotel management, owners, and senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills across all levels of management and external partners.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.

Additional Preferences

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
