The Role and Responsibilities
As a Makeup Artist specializing in fashion and beauty at IPAM, you will play a crucial role in shaping the image and confidence of our models. Beyond applying makeup, you will be part of a collaborative creative process that involves stylists, photographers, and event coordinators.
Core Responsibilities
- Creative Makeup Application: Apply makeup for runway shows, editorial photoshoots, and special events, ensuring each look aligns with the fashion concept and enhances the model’s features.
- Hair Styling Services: Provide complementary hairstyling to complete the overall look, from sleek runway-ready hairstyles to experimental styles for creative shoots.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with global beauty and fashion trends, translating them into fresh looks that reflect industry standards.
- Client and Student Education: Educate clients and students about skincare, makeup techniques, and beauty routines that support long-term career success.
- Workspace Maintenance: Ensure a hygienic, organized, and professional work environment by keeping tools and products sanitized and properly stored.
- Collaboration with Creative Teams: Work closely with photographers, fashion stylists, and event managers to deliver a cohesive and professional presentation.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Share expertise with students and junior team members, offering training sessions and feedback that encourage growth and skill development.

Required Qualifications
- Expertise in Makeup Artistry and Hair Styling: Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality makeup looks tailored to different themes, along with strong hairstyling skills.
- Professional Certification: A recognized certification or diploma in Makeup Artistry, Beauty Culture, or a related field.
- Experience in Fashion and Beauty Industry: Prior experience working in runway shows, editorial shoots, or fashion events is highly desirable.
- Training and Mentoring Skills: Ability to guide, train, and inspire students or junior colleagues in makeup artistry and beauty practices.
- Strong Customer Service and Sales Skills: Capacity to understand client needs, recommend suitable products or techniques, and maintain professional relationships.
- Flexibility in Work Hours: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and during special events to meet the demands of the industry.
