Job Summary:
Tea Avenue is seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its Kelaniya location and surrounding outlets. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced hospitality settings and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise outlet staff, fostering a motivated and customer-focused team environment
- Ensure smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of service and product quality
- Oversee inventory levels and coordinate timely supply chain logistics with vendors
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Analyze financial reports to support budgeting, cost control, and profitability goals
- Resolve customer concerns effectively and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction
- Streamline operational procedures to boost productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with senior management to execute company-wide strategies and objectives
Required Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in hospitality or food and beverage management
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficient in inventory management and supplier coordination
- Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
- In-depth knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing multiple outlets or franchises
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) and inventory software systems
Location:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelaniya, with travel to other Tea Avenue outlets as required.
