The Role & Responsibilities

As an Executive / Senior Executive in Commercial Real Estate Brokerage, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients throughout the transaction process while driving business development efforts. Your responsibilities will go beyond administrative support—you will be actively shaping client experiences and contributing to the success of the team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supporting End-to-End Transactions
    Work closely with the brokerage team to ensure smooth execution of commercial property transactions. From initial inquiries to deal closure, you will help create seamless experiences for clients.
  • Preparing Property Options & Site Visits
    Curate tailored property lists based on client requirements, arrange and manage site visits, and provide detailed follow-ups to guide clients through their decision-making process.
  • Sourcing and Recording Property Information
    Proactively research, identify, and maintain updated information on available commercial properties to strengthen our database and enhance market intelligence.
  • Coordinating with Field Teams
    Oversee and guide the data sourcing team in the field, ensuring accurate and timely property data collection for client use.
  • Managing Internal Databases
    Keep property databases updated and ensure information is well-organized, reliable, and ready for client presentations.
  • Preparing Client Decks & Presentations
    Assist in creating professional, compelling client presentations and proposals that reflect both market opportunities and client-specific needs.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will need a mix of academic grounding, technical skills, and professional exposure.

  • Educational Background
    A degree or professional qualification (full or partial) in Business Management, Administration, or Marketing is required. This foundation ensures you bring strategic thinking and business acumen to the role.
  • Communication Skills
    Strong written and verbal communication in both English and Sinhala is essential. You will often serve as the first point of contact with clients, making clarity and professionalism key.
  • Technical Proficiency
    Proficiency in MS Office packages, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is vital for data management, reporting, and client presentations.
  • Experience
    Prior experience in a client-facing B2B role with exposure to administration or operations is highly valued. While real estate experience is an advantage, it is not mandatory—what matters is your ability to adapt and learn quickly.
  • Adaptability to Fieldwork
    Comfort with fieldwork, including site visits and direct interactions with landlords and corporate clients, is crucial to building strong networks and trust.
  • Organizational Ability
    Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently will help you excel in a fast-paced environment.
