The Role & Responsibilities
The Business Support Assistant will provide essential operational and administrative support to ensure the seamless execution of company activities. This role requires balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high standard of efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage day-to-day office operations, including record-keeping, filing, and correspondence. You will serve as a central point of coordination to ensure documents, schedules, and processes remain organized.
- Communication Management: Handle internal and external communications with professionalism, ensuring timely responses and clear documentation. This includes drafting business letters, emails, and reports that reflect the company’s tone and standards.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and coordinate between departments to ensure smooth workflows. This responsibility involves anticipating needs, managing priorities, and ensuring senior staff are well-prepared.
- Data and Record Management: Maintain accurate records of company transactions, reports, and administrative files. You will also support data analysis projects by providing organized information to assist in decision-making.

Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field will be advantageous.

- Technology Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to quickly adapt to new digital tools.

- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage), enabling you to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
