Job Overview


We’re looking for a dedicated Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Amangalla in Galle, Sri Lanka. In this guest-facing role, you’ll lead the front office operations and ensure every guest enjoys a smooth, personalized, and memorable stay. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you’ll guide a team of receptionists, butlers, and front office staff, coordinating across departments to deliver seamless hospitality at every touchpoint.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily front office functions to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
  • Assign tasks and provide guidance to receptionists, cashiers, and butlers
  • Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, F&B, and other departments
  • Manage guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism
  • Handle phone communications, cashiering, and petty cash management
  • Assist with bookings and ensure guest data is accurately entered in Opera and CRM
  • Communicate guest preferences across departments and Aman properties
  • Organize guest transfers and ensure timely, comfortable transport arrangements
  • Maintain front office supplies and monthly inventory levels
  • Uphold luxury service standards, conduct inspections, and assist with staff training
  • Ensure smooth arrivals/departures and monitor room readiness via Opera PMS
  • Supervise grooming standards of chauffeurs and cleanliness of guest vehicles
  • Monitor and follow up on guest feedback, resolving issues with discretion
  • Support the Rooms Division Manager with operational updates and guest concerns

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory front office role within a luxury hotel or resort
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Opera PMS and CRM platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Legal authorization to work in Sri Lanka
  • Deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards (e.g., LQA)

Nice-to-Have:

  • Hospitality degree or diploma
  • Familiarity with guest service training programs and audit procedures
