Position: Manager – Packaging Development
Location: Nestlé Lanka, Kurunegala Factory
Department: Research & Development
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Manager to lead packaging development at our Kurunegala factory. You’ll work on improving packaging for products, managing projects, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. You’ll also support teams across the company and help find better packaging solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and improve packaging for new and existing products
- Manage packaging projects and product launch timelines
- Support factories, marketing, and supply chain with technical help
- Make sure all packaging meets safety and quality standards
- Work with suppliers to fix issues and find better materials
- Stay updated with new trends and ideas in packaging
- Help create and update product artwork
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4–5 years of experience in packaging (preferably in food manufacturing)
- Fluent in English and Sinhala
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of quality systems (like HACCP/QMS) and project management
